This two-part mini series tells stories of a person (or maybe people?) putting up anti-police, pro-community messages, but then abandoning the efforts half way through and running off, leaving the supplies behind, leaving the viewer to wonder what may have happened. I made these just as a way to further develop my scene building skills for illustrating while also plugging in some of my own thoughts and values. The first one depicts wheat pasting posters while the second one shows graffiti on the side of a building. I enjoy seeing both in the wild, especially when they contain messages like these. The first one depicted a more suburban type environment like where I grew up and live, so for the second one I wanted to include a similar scenario in a more urban-looking area for environmental contrast.
